Started in 2009, Growrite is one of the coco production facilities of the Van der Knaap Group in the Netherlands. Growrite produces a high-quality coco product called Coco Crunch.

To ensure that the products manufactured by Growrite are of high quality, the facility has a Quality Department which is closely monitored by our Quality Department in the Netherlands.

The products produced by Growrite DR S.R.L. are made from coco material: an organic, recyclable and environmentally friendly renewable raw material.

Growrite DR S.R.L. is established with a multidisciplinary team of specialists and workers from the Netherlands, Dominican Republic and Haiti. The entire team is fully focused and dedicated towards the realisation of a unique coir processing facility. We want to retain this specific working spirit during the operation of the factory by creating good circumstances for management and workers at the factory.

At Growrite DR S.R.L. we believe that companies have responsibilities. Not only by making money for the shareholders, but also to behave as good corporate citizens, adhering to high ethical standards and caring for the interest of others who are affected by the company actions.

Coco Crunch is an airy coco peat raw material ideal for mixing through potting soil mixes. Coco Crunch is coir fibre with a certain amount of coco chips and coir pith, made from the husk of the coconut. The production process is unique, creating high-quality coir material.

Coco Crunch has an open fibre structure and a high air content. It creates structure in the growing medium. Also, Coco Crunch increases the drainage capacity and the horizontal and vertical distribution of water within the growing medium. It increases quick drying of the top layer of the container and ensures excessive water drains out fast.

Coco Crunch increases the air and drainage capacities of the mix. The controlled production process ensures a high quality product.

Application
Coco Crunch can be used up to 30% in (peat) mixtures for shrubs, trees, perennials, pot plants and substrates for cut flowers and vegetables.
Please note: depending on the crop, this product needs to be treated and fertilized before use.

Growbags have a high air porosity. Due to this characteristic, the structure of the growbag is very stable. Roots are distributed throughout the entire substrate very easily, because of the air/water ratio. Consequently, the growbags have and important drainage capacity.

Growbags are suitable for vegetable and cut flower cultivations.

Propagation Cubes are made of pressed Coco Crunch and packed in a thin plastic bag. Via the drain slits, the Cube absorbs nutrient solution to expand to its full size of 10x10x7 cm.
Its unique air/water ratio results in a perfect growing medium for young plants. The bottom of the plastic cover is fully perforated, so the Propagation Cubes can be placed directly on the growbags.

Application
Propagation Cubes are suitable for vegetable cultivation.
